Dr. Mo Mommersteeg
CLINIC DIRECTOR, BA EXERCISE SCIENCE, DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC (DC)
My story begins from a young age in sport. My passion for sport allowed me to achieve an Ice Hockey Scholarship throughout my first University Degree. During this time I discovered Chiropractic, and the incredible benefits it had on my injuries, my training performance and overall health.
I have completed 8 extensive years of post graduate education, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. My goal is to work together with you, not just for you. To empower you and provide you with the tools you need to resolve your injuries and improve your future health.
When I am not in the clinic, you can find me staying active at the gym or walking the dogs at the strand. We love to jet off camping and exploring, whenever we get the chance!

Dr. Brooke Munion
BSC CELLULAR BIOLOGY, DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC
My healthcare journey started when I was young. As the younger sibling, I had to participate in my brother’s chosen sport or activity. I was quickly introduced to swimming at a young age, joining the competitive swim team in Pennsylvania when I was 6. Over the next 20 years, swimming was a huge portion of my life. I was able to earn a swim scholarship throughout my first Uni degree and swim at national collegiate events, all while studying. It was during this time I completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology.
During my senior year of college, I started having very bad back pain. After trying strong muscle relaxants and taking it easy in the weight room and pool, the last stop was the chiropractors office. Within a few sessions my legs were no longer twitching, my back pain was resolved, I was sleeping better, swimming faster, and enjoying my new pain-free life. I went on to complete a second degree, in Australia from Macquarie University. This time it was in Chiropractic. Since graduating, I have completed numerous professional courses specialising in sports rehab, dry needling, pregnancy and paediatric chiropractic care.
My ultimate goal is to help patients achieve and feel confident in their injury recovery. By building a treatment plan, I want to help my patients reach their health and injury goals. Health is a journey, and I am here to assist you along the way. I am here to help you be better every day and improve your overall health.
In my spare time I like ocean swimming, exploring new beaches, reading, Crossfit, and taking my shih tzu-maltese named "Poptart" for walks.

Sarah-Jane Morgan
REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST
I’m passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and live more comfortably. I love working with a wide range of mobility issues and everyday postural or repetitive strain stresses, especially those affecting the lower back, neck, and shoulders. My goal is to help each client improve their quality of life and achieve their personal goals through tailored, hands-on massage care.

Fiona Hanson
REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST
With 11 years of hands‑on experience, massage reflects my passion for movement, recovery and long‑term wellbeing. Through my work I have supported a wide range of clients, from everyday individuals to high‑performance athletes, including several years working as a therapist with the North Queensland Cowboys. My skillset spans remedial therapy, sports massage, trigger point release, dry needling, cupping, and taping, allowing me to tailor treatment to each client’s needs and functional goals.
My passion is deeply driven by my own sporting background. I’ve played sport throughout my life and personally navigated the rehabilitation of two knee reconstructions and a ruptured Achilles. Staying active remains a core part of my life through the gym and outrigger paddling, and this fuels my commitment to helping others stay mobile, strong and confident in their bodies.
My goal as a therapist is simple: to teach clients how to get the most out of their bodies — at any age, fitness level or stage of life — with less pain, fewer restrictions and greater freedom of movement. I believe in empowering people with knowledge, practical strategies and treatment that supports long‑term wellbeing, not just short‑term relief.

CLINIC ADMIN/ RECEPTIONIST
I’m a born-and-bred Townsville local with a deep passion for health, wellness, and the sport industry! While pursuing my Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, I’ve found joy in connecting with people and diving into the health care world.

At reception you can always expect a friendly face and an ear for a chat, before your appointment! I look forward to welcoming you to Momentum Health & Chiro and helping with any admin questions along the way!
