Dry needling therapy

Dry needling is a technique used by both our massage therapists and chiropractors. It involves the insertion of sterile needles into muscular trigger points, or bands of tight muscles.

Our therapists use their hands on skills to identify muscular knots or trigger points that may be associated with your pain. They will then decide if dry needling is a suitable addition to your chiropractic or massage treatment.

Our therapists will combine dry needling with other therapy techniques which may include sports massage, cupping, soft tissue therapy, chiropractic adjustments, injury specific rehab or more.

What are the benefits of Dry Needling?

  • Increase circulation: An immediate increase in blood flow to the targeted area, musculature and injury site.

  • Reduce Muscle Tension: Dry Needles inserted into tight muscles will allow the muscle to relax and reduce any associated tension.

  • Improve Injury recovery: Dry needling will speed up recovery in your musculoskeletal system.

  • Increase Range of Motion: By releasing tight trigger points, dry needling can assist in regaining mobility and range of motion in both tissues and joints.
